Luke did a great job and was very flexible and understanding of our needs. He listened and was very helpful in explaining answers to our questions. I would highly recommend his work.
Luke was on time, considerate upon entering the house, and has a pleasant, friendly manner. He also gave excellent advice and suggestions/options for solving the problem, without "pushing" for one or the other. NEXTPOINT Electrics is to be highly recommended.
Luke at NextPoint was fantastic. Arrived on time both times he's done work, texted first to say he was on his way. Very quick, efficient and tidy with both jobs and a great guy to deal with. Highly recommend and will definitely use him again.
Luke was super efficient and communication on point. Came around the next day to quote for all ceiling fans replaced and was all done in less than a week. Highly recommend Luke and Nextpoint Electrics!
Absolutely terrific to work with. Luke’s professional manner coupled with friendliness, all the while keeping us updated on progress. Have no hesitation in recommending Luke.
Really impressed with Nextpoint Electrics! Friendly, professional, and got the job done promptly. Highly recommend for anyone needing an electrician you can trust.

Yes. We are based in Ocean Grove, a short run along the coast road, so there is no travel time on the bill and no distance loading. There is no call out fee and no distance loading.
All of it, the whole 3225 postcode, and the neighbouring towns with it. Nowhere in Point Lonsdale is far enough from us to be worth charging you extra for.
We are based in Ocean Grove, a short run along the coast road, so there is no travel time on the bill and no distance loading. We do not promise a set response time, but you get a straight answer on the phone and a time on the day rather than an all day window.
Outside, yes. Point Lonsdale takes it straight off the Rip, which is about as exposed as anywhere on this coast gets. Salt corrodes metal and it does not need to be sea spray to do it: outdoor power points, light fittings, switchboard enclosures and the screws holding them up all age faster here than they do inland. What fails is usually the fixing or the seal rather than the fitting itself.

Point Lonsdale sits on the headland at the mouth of Port Phillip, looking across the Rip to Point Nepean, with the lighthouse that has been there since 1863 above the front beach. It is a holiday town that swells in summer and settles back for the rest of the year.
Holiday towns age their housing differently. A place that was shut up for nine months a year and opened at Christmas has often had less done to it than a house lived in continuously, and the electrical work in it can be a long way behind. Beach boxes, sleepouts and the room that was added on are where the surprises usually are.
The exposure here is as direct as it gets on this coast. Anything mounted outside is in salt air off the Rip year round, so enclosures rated for the position, stainless fixings and seals that are actually fitted are the difference between a fitting that lasts and one you replace in three years.
The practical version for a Point Lonsdale owner: if the house has been in the family a while, the switchboard is the thing worth looking at first, and anything you mount outside is worth specifying properly the first time rather than twice.
If you are letting the place out over summer, the two questions that come up are safety switch protection and whether the alarms are compliant. Both are cheaper to sort in the off season than in the week before a booking.
