Ring, if it has already gone wrong
Anything tripping, sparking, smelling hot or leaving part of the house without power is a phone call, not a form. If we are up a ladder it will not get answered, and we will ring back.
Ring if it has already gone wrong. Text if you would rather write it down. Use the form if it needs detail. All three reach the same person.
Three ways through
Every one of them reaches a licensed electrician, not a call centre and not a ticket number. What differs is speed.

Opens a message on your phone with the first line already written. Add your suburb and what you need. You keep a written record of what was asked for.
Best for quotes with a few moving parts: three rooms of fans, a switchboard you want looked at, an appliance arriving on a date. The more you put in, the closer the first reply gets to a real number.
Send a message
Goes straight to info@nextpointelectrics.com.au. Only the marked fields are required. We use what you send to reply to your enquiry and nothing else.
A reply with a day, a time window and a price, or a question if it genuinely cannot be priced without seeing it. Not a sales call, not a newsletter, and not a follow up six weeks later.

Questions about getting in touch
Normal working hours are the reliable window, and outside them you are welcome to ring anyway. There is no guaranteed after hours response time, and that is deliberate rather than coy. If we cannot get to you we will say so on the call so you can ring somebody else instead of waiting on a maybe. If you manage rental properties, the after-hours care page sets out what does and does not count as an after hours electrical emergency.
Nothing. There is no call out fee. What you pay for is the work itself, at a fixed price agreed before anything starts, so nothing turns up on the invoice that you had not already heard. You will hear that number before anyone gets in the van.
No response-time promise is published here, because we would rather commit to nothing than commit to something we cannot hold, and most of the ones you see advertised are decoration. What is true is that every enquiry gets answered, and that ringing is faster than the form. If your enquiry is time critical, say the date in the message and it will be treated that way.
Sometimes, and it is worth trying. A clear photo of the switchboard with the cover on, the room a fan or air conditioner is going in, or the data plate of an appliance will often get you a real number without a visit. What cannot be quoted from a photo is a fault, because finding it is most of the work.
Ring and ask rather than assuming either way. The 35 km radius is what can be covered reliably, and it takes in every Geelong suburb, Queenscliff, St Leonards, Portarlington, Clifton Springs, Queenscliff and the acreage in between. Just outside it depends on the day and what else is booked.
Before you send
Almost every enquiry gets answered faster with these in it.
It decides whether the job is fifteen minutes away or fifty, and it often narrows down the likely fault before anyone arrives.
If a circuit is tripping, this one detail separates a water-affected outdoor fitting from a failing appliance, and saves you paying for the time it would take to work that out.
Ovens, cooktops, air conditioners and EV chargers all carry their electrical requirements on the data plate. Sending it before you buy is much cheaper than after delivery.
